This invitational show features accomplished New England artists working in a variety of media including ceramic, coding, collage, digital media, drawing, encaustic wax, found objects, glass, handmade paper, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. The common denominator of the ARTIST AS CURATOR show is a genuine admiration between the curators and their invited artists. The exhibit represents creative relationships: life-long associations, working partnerships, mentorships, personal inspirations, family connections and friendships. Side by side, this is a varied collection of work by artists who work locally and exhibit both nationally and internationally, including:

Admiration comes in many forms and of respected guest sculptor Eoin Burke, member Mary Burke was clearly moved to invite Eoin, who is also her son,  “These (sculptures), with their profound beauty and spiritual depth, …inspiring us to seek our own inner peace and beauty” Unrelated KLG long timer Rod Cook invited Dru Nadler, who has a body of work “ that reflects a personal vision that is creative, surprising, and both dark and delightful.” 

Founded in 2003, Kehler Liddell Gallery has grown to represent some of Connecticut's highest achieving mid-career and emerging artists. The Gallery is dedicated to representing critical perspectives that challenge and illuminate our culture and enrich our aesthetic experience.
